Taran Carter
Taran Carter has been writing music since he realised that to be a pop star you either had to look good, sound good or write nice tunes. He chose the latter.
His music has been performed in New York, London, Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmania, and was broadcast around the world when the Australian Synchronised Swimming Team swam to two of his compositions in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
He has had works performed by Opera Australia, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the VCA orchestra, the Song Company, Speak Percussion and EnsembleBash while regularly performing around Melbourne with his acclaimed band Tehai.

Run for Your Life
|
album review Run 4 Your Life begins with the amazing vocal talents of Karolina Cutler. Driving sound scapes, funky jazz tunes and catchy pop songs get the imagination racing as fast as the legs. These Intricate melodies, intense movie music-like passages, dramatic mood changes, humour and nostalgia will motivate, fascinate, elevate and stimulate any run. There are elements of Motown, Bebop and early Hip-Hop with touches of Groove Armada and (bizarrely) Elton John. Great run partner. |
